The Livonia Fire Department is a non-profit 501(c)(3) in the state of New York. We are organized and dedicated to provide high-quality emergency services for the protection of life and property to the residents of and visitors to the Livonia Joint Fire District which we serve. These services include fire prevention, fire suppression, rescue, and basic life support. Through the efforts of our highly-trained and motivated individuals, the challenges to life, safety and property are met on a daily basis.

The Livonia Fire Department has 85 members who offer protection to the Livonia Joint Fire District. This district covers approximately 5,000 residents within 30 square miles inside of the Town of Livonia NY. The Fire Department also has a number of active Explorers who are 14 to 18 years old.

Livonia Fire Department provides professional emergency services to all of our neighbors. Our special operation services include our highly trained and active F.A.S.T. (Firefighter Assist & Search Team), an active rope rescue team as well as a cold, warm and ice water rescue response team.
