Tuesday, August 10th, at approximately 1900 hours Livonia Fire Department was dispatched on a mutual aid assignment for a structure fire on Niver Road in Conesus. First arriving units found light smoke coming from a large, heavily modified wood frame farm house. Initial attack by Conesus and Livonia found extensive fire within the interior walls of the building. Units remained on scene for a number of hours. Due to the extensive renovation of the building, the fire was particularly difficult to extinguish because of many void spaces and multiple roofs.
